Had a Cool Opportunity Tonight...

Why? Because you can't do it?

Hockey sucks. I was focusing on playing real sports when growing up. If I want to watch a bunch of russians chase each other around with sticks, I'll just turn on CNN.

Hockey shouldn't be played south of the Mason-Dixon.

You can very easily play recreational football, basketball, baseball, soccer, and tennis.

You wouldn't even be able to stand up on ice.

Define "played with".

I blocked for Trot Nixon in high school and shared a limo with him for prom ( Red Sox world series). I blocked for David Patton (3 super bowl rings with Pats) and Brad Hoover (runner up). All I amounted to was a lousy sales guy.

I played against Nate Irving (LB for the Broncos now, in case nobody knows) in high school my sophomore year (his senior year). Basically, he leveled me on a kickoff and he abused me from his TE position on the goal line that series. I also went to middle school with Brandon Spikes. Cool dude from what I remember of him then. Facebook friends with him. Still seems cool.

Yeah, my stories aren't nearly as awesome as others.

    • If you want to listen to some funny poo here it is.  https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mac-bone-show-lindsay-rhodes-interview/id1541654577?i=1000748390898     towards the end   They have an analytics person on there talking about football etc and towards the end they ask about bryce and his "progression".  She rips their soul from them in real time.   Talks about how lucky the panthers were, how bad his metrics were and how she doesnt think as of now he is the answer.  They try to answer back that "win he is good he is good" bullshit but she just turns them sideways.  Its glorious
    • In year 4 after endless back and forth heated debate about how much help he has or needs if he is not able to consistently elevate those around him and more often than not be a major contributing force throughout games then in no way shape or form do you consider an extension. But at the end of the day he isn't going to one day this summer wake up and be built like a franchise QB. We will always be working from a disadvantage at some level in the most high stakes games.
