Beason gets the green light for next week

Recommended Posts

Beason is recovering well after surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon last September, a devastating injury to a player in top physical condition who hadn't missed a game in his previous four seasons. He's been working solely in individual drills the past three weeks of organized team activities (OTAs) as a precautionary measure, but has been given medical clearance to participate in team drills next week at minicamp.

Beason is fine. RR knows not push him beyond his limit right now. I'm sure between the coaching staff and trainers. They will take it easy for the rest of OTAs and from the start of training camp next month. Thing is when it comes to TC and preaseaon games. They really have to push him a little more to get him into game shape. I'm sure by the start of TC Beason will be back to near or full contact and getting ready anyway. But like anyone in panther nation. We want to see Beason take it slow for now and I'm sure he will.

He need only to look over to Thomas Davis to understand not to push yourself too fast.

You know how the guys are. They want to push harder and harder, it's not like every one of these guys hasn't seen a fellow player attempt to come back from injury before.

I'm sure Davis is preaching slow and steady and it prob means more to Beason coming From a fellow LB. I'm also sure Rivera has told him the same thing.

    • When we have everyone playing like they should, we can win the Cup. That has been the biggest problem when we get to the playoffs, but this year seems to be fixed mostly. We could have had multiple if we had done this in the past.
    • Here we go Bryce Stan’s you should love this. Hell it may be one of you.  It has every cliche excuse and then some.  Unintentionally hilarious my limit was reached when he said Bryce had it hard because four play callers.
    • Luke goes in to the specifics of what he looked to accomplish in joint practices.  Basically they may work with someone on the opposing team to stress something they feel is a weakness in their own game in a different way that can be done with someone they are familiar with. That they can have predetermined stresses but since neither wants to get injured and it has absolutely no bearing on anything there is not the level of concern that would be in a preseason game.  He would also even chat with opposing OC.   It seems like an interesting nuance among the vets and savy pros.
