Predict this year's record!

If you are playing the "if" game, i can join in. If Painter could make one throw, we lose to the sorry ass Colts last year. 11 wins is a tall order at this point. I'm not saying things couldn't change, but as it stands right now as I am typing this on the office toilet, 11 wins will be very difficult.

what "if" you didnt post anymore? John Fox is gone bro....its a new era so get that bad taste out of your mouth

John Fox was in the playoffs last season.

Sure the panthers have slightly improved but so has the rest of the NFC south.

this isn't the AFC west. 8-8 in this division and you're at home every season. the worst team to ever make the playoffs in the NFC south went 9-7.

the guy was done here. at odds with management, players had given up on him, fans were sick of it. "derp john fox was a good coach" is a pathetic meme. thankfully he's in a crappy division now and people with a childlike understanding of football can watch him carve up poo competition for the next few years and think he's chuck noll.

he is a good D coordinator. Denver aint letting him run that O

absolutely. he's a hell of a defensive coordinator but keeping his hands off the offense is important for continued effectiveness as a team. his offenses require a very narrow set of personnel and a very stiff style that needs very specific circumstances to work properly.

denver is doing the smart thing here. they'll blow into the playoffs easily while we miss the playoffs and the manchildren here will cry for another year about the huge mistake we made.

Rivera can only hope to duplicate the first three seasons of john fox's career here but we'll see.

fixed

73-71 record as a head coach here. just barely above .500

edit: i have to say i liked the guy and was always a supporter of his even when things were at their worst. he had many great games against quality teams but also some amazingly fugly ones against total poo we could have beaten (bills in 2009, many others). it's just that he's the first "real" coach that actually stuck for this franchise so people put him on a pedestal like their first fug.

0-0. Jesus will come back before the season starts.

or maybe 11-5 or 10-6

We can sweep the Bucs, and I think we split with the Falcons and the Saints**. (4-2)

We can take the Giants (first prime time game in a while, BOFA should be rocking) and the Cowboys at home, we can also go on the road and beat the Skins. However, I don't see us beating the Eagles at their place though. (7-3)

I don't see us beating Chicago at Soldier Field or the Chiefs at Arrowhead. (7-5)

The Seahawks and Raiders should be fairly easy wins, especially at home. (9-5)

I think we take Fox and the Broncos because you know that our players will have a lot to play. (10-5)

Finally the Chargers/Panthers game could go either way. You know Rivera and Chud are going to want to win this one bad but the time change might hurt the Panthers a little. (11-5 or 10-6)
