A whole bunch of crap. Doing a write up so I can poo all over EA and their smearing of the Simcity name by putting it on facebook. Also waiting on EA to release a review code to me so that I can review The Secret World, an EA/Funcom MMORPG.

Got my review code for The Secret World this morning. It's currently downloading.

I have a few friends who play TSW. It's... different. There's a lot of unique puzzle solving involved. Translating things for Morse code (where the game gives you no hints to know that it's Morse code, just beeps going on in the background) was the craziest one that I've heard. It's not for me but it's an interesting concept for sure.

I'm still playing SWTOR. I know it's not a great MMO but I still enjoy getting to play in the Star Wars sandbox and I have a good group of people to play with. Evo going on has made me want to pick Street Fighter 4 back up.

I started into it last night and played for a few hours. I was completely overwhelmed by the scope of the game. There's one thing that no one will ever claim about TSW and that's that it's a clone of something else. It's entirely it's own entity. So far I'm really impressed and my laptop easily handles it on Ultra settings which makes the game look absolutely amazing.

I played the beta for a bit. It's definitely a new concept. I'm interested to see how long it lasts because the game caters to a certain kind of gamer. There seems to be a giant curve that will only get passed by a few select gamers who enjoy both the Lovecraftian setting and are are hardcore MMO fans.
