I checked that other thread but not much detail about the kind of player he is.Good pass blocker? Good run blocker?seems like he was good depth for you guys the past few years. but I don't know anything really about him.

IMO he's going to end up starting if he's anywhere close to being a solid RT.

jon jansen is riding the pine unless he proves he can pass block worth a damn,they say he's in the competition for RT but the FO rumor is that he won't start ever again... I don't want him starting either unless he's gotten a few steps back.his ankle got destroyed in 07 robbing him of what he had left. I remember in 2006 he had done a real good job with peppers,but that's so long ago...

Stephon Heyer is meh,alright pass blocker,can't run block

Mike Williams is 400 pounds.....yeah...

Jeremy Bridges...well I honestly think he's going to end up being the starting RT if he's anything close to decent.

I don't like the skins bringing turds into the locker room,but our OL is a close knit veteran bunch thats been together a while, so I sort of expect him to behave.

I liked Bridges myself, and I am a bit of an O-Line buff. He filled in very well for us and provided great depth. Good veteran player who can do a little bit of everything. Wouldn't say he is great at any one technique or skill, but he can get the job done and has decent size and pretty good feet.

But what do I know?

He seemed to be a great team player. When he was on the field and the offense scored, he would always be downfield to congratulate the scorer. He seemed to give all he could on every play (that SHOULD be expected in the sport but...)

at his mini-camp tryout they were in love with his footwork.

Actually, what he did was spray a bottle of Dom all over the patrons of an Italian eatery in Ballentyne. It was defined as "making it rain" in the paper. Apparently all the big ballers do it.

Bridges is a good back-up and can be decent as a starter. One of his main selling points is that he possesses the versatility to play either guard or tackle. Solid is the best way to describe him. He won't dominate but he can hold his own. If he was signed for depth or as a stop-gap starter, then I'd say it was a nice pick up.

I'd say at the very least he's a depth guy(good versatility,good stopgap starter),but given the crapfest at RT if he can hold his own he's probably going to get the job.the guys who played there in 2008 and in 2007 sure as hell couldn't.

      If you're looking for a pat on the back it sounds good in theory until you realize they also had the 2023 Panthers as the top draft class.

      Going into the 2003 and 2015 seasons we were supposed to be the joke of the league each time. In 2003, John Fox was supposed to still be in rebuild mode. We had a guy named Peppers on the defensive line who was supposed to be pretty good. We had Rodney Peete as our starting QB and a line that was a lot of hope and not much experience. Our new running back was a guy the Redskins, errrr Commanders, had jettisoned for being too old. We had a good kicker and writers thought that was needed because there were going to be more field goals than touch downs. Heck, it looked like they were right up until just before halftime of that first game when we had to yank Rodney Peete and put in some Cajun duded whose name couldn't be pronounced. And Steve Smith? He wasn't Smitty yet. Moose Muhammad, well, he was close to being written off as a bust. You know how that turned out. And then in 2015, we had Cam Newton, who was electrifying to watch but hadn't really won anything yet. There was an offensive line in front of him that looked like it was made in a defunct Swiss cheese factory and our big hope on offense was the great Kelvin Benjamin. And then he got taken out for the year with a knee injury in training camp. Ted "Feet of Lightning, Hands of Stone" Ginn became our default go to guy beside our next best hope, yeah, Devin Funchess. Our defense was pretty good, a scrappy bunch with frikkin' awesome linebacker play and a cornerback who had done more than drank the Kool-Aid, but had snorted the powder. He played like a superhero and became sort of a bat-man during the season. By the Super Bowl he had completely lost his freaking mind, though, and managed to talk his way out of a contract with the team next year. No one was expecting us to win the NFCSouth that season, much less almost go undefeated and into the Super Bowl. So, 2026? Who knows? But our best seasons came when no one had a reason to believe in us, except us.

      it's not so much this personal vendetta against the Carolina Panthers as it is more about Bryce Young never not once been in the same conversation with the top 15 or even top 20 Qbs in the NFL ..just saying
