Predict the Panthers record - HOMER fan version

Recommended Posts

I usually don't do this, but I'll say 13-3 with all losses in away games. ATL, ARI, NE. I was going to say a loss at NO, but I don't think we'll have a losing streak at all. That loss may happen, but if so we'll beat ARI.

I can see 11-12 wins this season... depending on how things work out.

I say 12-4 (with an option of 11-5)

Losses to:

Atlanta (@ ATL) - NFCS Home field thing

Washington - They seem to some how always baffle the Panthers (lead the all time series 7-1 over the Panthers)

Miami - well, we've not beat them yet... (Miami and Houston are the only teams The Panthers have not beat in the NFL)

New England - Just a feeling, but who knows....

My OPTION Loss is the Saints @ Saints... because of the home field thing again.

(Yes, I believe we'll beat the Bucs 2 times this season... but, ya never know.)

So there ya go.

not that it matters... here's the run down:

Philly - W

@ ATL - L

@ DAL - W

BYE

SKINS - L

@ BUCS - W

BILLS - W

@ ARI - W

@ NO - W/L

FALCONS- W

PHINS - L

@ JETS - W

BUCS - W

@ NE - L

MINNI - W

@ NYG - W

SAINTS - W

12-4 OR 11-5

I'm going to be realistic here. The Panthers will go 10-6 or 9-7, get a wild card birth and probably make it to the NFC Championship game. I think we have the talent to get that far, but I can't predict what other top NFC teams will be like. A trip to the Super Bowl may happen, although I'm not completely sold that we are that good..yet.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
