Tailgate Sponsorship Opportunities Available

Another season of tailgating awaits. Another season of food, fun and meeting new people is only a few weeks away. But we need sponsors for each tailgate so that fans can simply show up and enjoy without the hassle of bringing everything themselves. For 7 years in a row every game has been sponsored. Over $20,000 dollars have been raised and over 600 bikes donated to Toys for Tots.

If you're not familiar with the process, here's how it works:

We get sponsors to pay $250 for each tailgate. In return we buy all the food and non-alcoholic drinks plus provide a dry covered area to tailgate. The tailgate is open to anyone, and when you partake you place a donation in the bucket at the end of the serving line. Because the tailgate has been sponsored, 100% of the money that goes into the bucket is used to purchase bikes at the end of the season to give to Toys for Tots at the stadium. The bikes will be donated on Dec. 9th during the tailgate vs. the Falcons. We could not do all of this without sponsors.

The sponsor will be recognized the week of the tailgate. If the sponsor is a business they are welcome to bring banners, giveaways, etc. at the tailgate.

The only game that has been taken is October 7th vs. the Seahawks and thanks to Bo in Monroe and Northern Hawk for sponsoring it. That tailgate and that one only will not be for Toys for Tots but instead go to a fund for the children of a longtime poster (Cooter) that passed away last month.

The following games are available:

Sept. 16 vs. Saints*

Sept. 20 vs. Giants

Oct. 21 vs. Cowboys

Nov. 11 vs. Broncos

Nov. 18 vs. Tampa Bay

Dec. 9 vs. Atlanta

Dec. 23 vs. Raiders

If there is interest in sponsoring preseason games vs. Houston August 11th or Miami August 17th those are at a discount of $200. If no sponsors step up for those games then there will be no preseason tailgates.

Please sign up for one in this thread if you want to sponsor, payment would not be due until a week or two before the actual game. If you have any questions, direct them in this thread. Thanks.

    • Why would we not be contenders? As long as Bryce plays like he did when he came back, we absolutely can be contenders...that is...   if the defense plays better... which is why adding someone like Ramsey when we have a QB on a rookie deal and can afford it makes sense IMO. No one thought of the Commanders being contenders last year or the Texans the year before and so on and so forth. Top-end QB play, especially for a guy on a rookie deal, changes everything in terms of timelines. Regardless of what this board thinks, I hope the front office is willing to he aggressive in thks window we currently have with a rookie QB deal
    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
