Ticket2Packs for 2009

Section 505

Didn't see this anywhere (and I searched), But looks like this is new for this year.

Get a jump on the crowd and get your Panthers Ticket2Pack before single-game tickets go on sale later this summer. Secure the same seat for two great Panthers regular-season home games. It's twice the fun and twice the excitement.

TICKET2PACKS

Philadelphia (Sept. 13) and Minnesota (Dec. 20)

Washington (Oct. 11) and Miami (Nov. 19)

Buffalo (Oct. 25) and Atlanta (Nov. 15)

Tampa Bay (Dec. 6) and New Orleans (Jan. 3)

A limited number of Ticket2Packs go on sale June 1. Tickets cost $51 per seat per game, and purchase restrictions apply.

Purchased Via Ticketmaster. So I haven't recieved any info on this from the Panthers so I'm wondering if PSL owners can get a jump on these before the general public like the single game tickets that go on sale August 1st.

I know other teams in the NFL (Bengals are one) have done this in years past. Obviously they are trying to help sales of low demand games (Min, Mia, Buf, NO) by coupling them with high demand games (Phi, Was, Atl, TB). Or they are trying to get less Phi, Was, Atl, and TB fans to buy tickets.

If anybody has heard anything besides what is on the Panthers site, let me know.

Smart move by the panthers. I'll go so far as to say that I hope PSL holders do not get a jump on these.

I agree...in a very tight economy there will be more empty seats than ever this season. I hope this promotion does well!

I think I'm going to look into this. All of those games sound pretty good, but I'd love to see the Philadelphia and Minnesota games.

Not only should they be tough games, but they are relatively far apart from each other; you get the season opener and a game that could also have playoff implications (plus the Minnesota game is a Sunday Nighter).

Anyone willing to help an out of state friend?

I would love to buy a two-pack but this out of state address bans me from making Ticketmaster purchases for Panther games. I would gladly paypal the moolah if someone would be willing to help!!

not to rain on anyones parade but 51 dollar tickets are in the nosebleeds

They are upperdesk, but not nosebleeds all the time.

I think the $51 tickets I got last season a couple times were about row 6 up to I think the highest I sat was row 16.

But that might be depending on the section of the stadium too.

i'd take uppers as long as it's not corner or behind the goal posts. i did sit in nearly identical uppers that were 2 rows from the top behind the end zone twice last year and wasn't mad at the seats, but would obviously rather sit between the 20 yd lines. i wonder if the box office has info on where the seats will be.

    • overall agree on the draft grade as a whole on on each pick, but every time I read (and I have read it more than once) that we "gave up two firsts" for Bryce, I am confused. We gave up the 2024 first, but we swapped 2023 firsts, so we didn't give up anything there. We did give up our former first rounder in DJ, but I don't think thats what you mean as one of the "firsts" we gave up.
    • Didn't  see this posted (since 2023) but since folks have been posting that you can't judge a draft class for three years (a ridiculous take), I thought I'd post this to see what people thought about the 2023 draft. Unfortunately this may not be the most interesting class to do this with but I do quite like retrospective draft grades. Would appreciate other's takes on this (and other recent) draft classes.   1(1) - Bryce Young QB: I am a bigger Bryce Young apologist than most (maybe all). I like the kid. But there is no way around it: This was a terrible pick. If he had been picked in the 4th or even the 3rd round I would feel pretty good about it. But this was the first overall pick that we gave up two firsts, our best offensive player to get.  GRADE: C -    2(39) - Jonathan Mingo WR: not much to say here here. He was here for two years. His yards per catch are on par with Bryce's yards per pass. Rough stuff. To date he has still never scored a touchdown in the NFL GRADE: F   3(80) - DJ Johnson OLB: a pick I hated as soon as it happened and an example of why the premise of this thread is honestly dumb. This was a bad pick when it happened. Most people knew it.  Then came training camp and he did not look good. Then came the preseason which confirmed what we saw in TC. Then came the season which confirmed what we saw in preseason. To date, he has half a sack in his career. GRADE: F 4 (114) Chandlers Zavala G: Honestly the best pick of this draft which really speaks to how awful this draft is. Other than Bryce, the only pick still on the team. He is mostly average or below average depth which in round 4 is not terrible. But he had a pff score of 43.5 and though I think people have unrealistic expectations for draft picks, I still would want a little more from a fourth round pick GRADE: C+   5 (145) - Jammie Robinson S: I liked the pick when it happened but ended up being a disappointment. He logged 1 tackle with the falcons last year and not enough snaps to get a grade on PFF.  GRADE: F OVERALL DRAFT GRADE: F
