I will explain it to you, sport.

Roster spots.

The kid is such a gem that every team passed on him several times in the draft.

If he wasn't the kid of a NFL great NO ONE would be talking about him.

People who "look good and do the right things" get passed on jobs all the time. Especially in the NFL.

I hope Armanti doesn't make the team but he's having a fantastic camp according to the writers.

We've seen Marty take a year or two longer than he needed to admit he made a mistake. Expecting the same this year.

Gettis/Murphy make the team, too

Gettis has to prove he can get on the field and play

Our current starting RT was undrafted. He was on our roster last year.

Plenty of undrafted kids make rosters every year. It ain't like he plays RB. He plays a postion we aren't deep at and we will carry a lot at that position

Can someone please explain this to me? I don't understand it, and I never will. We have someone who comes into camp and does all the right things, looks great, and everyone loves them, but instead of making the team they get cut and we carry someone who sucks like Armanti Edwards for example. Why do we continue to do this?

Maybe you should read more actual camp reports for a better perspective.
