What are you hoping to see in the Miami game?

For me the top 3 are..

1.I really want to see Hardy step it up. Its his third year in the league and he needs to step it up a notch. Last year I thought he was just average and soo far haven't heard or seen much to the contrary.

2.Will the real # 2 cornerback please stand up? I think many on this board including myself are expecting Josh Norman to be that guy and I would love for him to come out and show us some of these great things he's done on the practice field in a live game.

3.Somebody earn the week 1 2nd DT starting job.Neblett seems to be the best a creating pressure on the QB, but he will be out the first 4 weeks and from the sounds of it his mysterious illness will keep him out of this game as well, perfect chance for someone else to step up. I personally favor Fua over Mcclain and Kearse at this point but he's more of a true nose, there's no chance we could see him and Edwards starting week 1 could we?

Josh Norman make a name for himself at #2.

Murphy, LaFell, Tutu. One of these guys has to step up and score a TD.

And of course the DT's need to show us something.

Defense and AT LEAST 1 TD from first team O, pending on how long they're in

Thought they played the first half last year, went to nfl.com to confirm and we did. Forgot we played the dolphins in week 2 last year as well, hopefully we will have better results this time around(first team got shut out last year).

    • This is one of my key concerns lost in the sauce that is the neverending conversation about him evading pressure and the OL. Eventually any QB is going to have to step up into the pocket and show the defense they can still beat them even if they get through. We have a limited QB who cannot consistently do this and as such we are relegated to going back and forth about how successful he was at evading pressure but we have little else to write home about. Tyler Shough stepped up into the pocket and made plays despite being pressured and sacked. He's played in about 35 less games than Bryce Young. That is a problem. And isn't just going to go away. The Bucs are going to do the same thing after watching the film.
    • Oh, absolutely! That doesn't absolve the absolute dogshit hockey that the team played in front of him, though. Only Cane that played well tonight was Bradly Nadeau.
    • Thanks for illustrating my point.  No one in the last several pages of this discussion is suggesting we should hang on to him, but anytime someone says anything less than "take him out back and shoot him" you act like they are. That's either you not understanding what you're reading or just being a nimrod because you can't keep up. (I would have said 'or just sh-tposting' but you're way too emotional on this topic for that) Either way, the result is the same 😆
