Removing the franchise tag from Julius Peppers is the best option.

Never start it crolls?!? You are usually the reason a well thought out thread like Fiz's gets derailed into a name calling pissing match, where you say other people's opinions are not well thought out simply because they disagree with you on the 3 things you comment on this board about; the FO sucks; Jake Delhomme sucks; and tagging Peppers was mean.

Pretty much. There have been lots of posters who think different things, but since they are respectful to the disagreeing poster(s) and players being discussed, that kind of stuff doesn't happen in their discussions.

Oh and don't eff with X-Clown, he can always dig up the damaging stuff. :)

mean?

how about dumb? If you are gonna rant, at least pay attention.

the rest of your post is rubbish. You are just mad. I guess you love Joke, love the FO and think Peppers will still pull two first round picks for NEXT year. That is OK> I get called all sorts of things for taking an opposing view on some of these subjects. Sorry I don't fit in your little perfect box.

effn hilarious

Yes, mean. Are you really going to make me go back and find all of your posts where you rant about how it's not right what they did to Pep and he fulfilled his contractual obligations and blah blah blah? Everyone knows what I'm talking about. You act like a whiny child.

you are really starting to crack me up now. those were arguments toward people who were a huge fan of his as recent as the last home game but are attacking him personally now since he does not want to be a Panther. The truth is that there is no reason to legitimately dislike him. It is wrong to be mean to him but the reasons for taggin him were stupid not mean necessarily.

I see you can read, now try to comprehend context and limit that selective memory a little. Then you will start to become helpful around here.

Every opinion I have shared has been explained very well. I'm sorry if yo don't like it or can't comprehend it.

I really am.

it's your delivery and it mostly comes off as demeaning and insulting far more than anyone else does and you go to it a lot quicker than most people.

that is not starting anything. the mods know that 55 follows me around with a sick obsession. I am allowed to defend myself you know.

You started the personal attacks in that thread like you do with most others.

55 didn't even say anything to you personally, yet you took it that way. I guess that's "defending yourself" in your eyes.

My fault. By helpful did you mean making personal attacks on people who don't agree with me, even when their opinion is given in an articulate, well thought out manner? Or did you mean helpful by constantly bashing a GM from my Rent-A-Center financed couch, that stands his ground against coddled, immature superstar athletes, and gets paid very well to make tough decisions? Hurney might not be making the right decision, but it's the decision he made and now he has to stand by that decision.

The funny thing is that I even agree with some of your views in your posts, but the way you go at people and debate topics is laughable.

very mature. I know he made the decision. What is your point? I said it was wrong and I said it was wrong before he made it in spite of everyone else around here acting all glazed over from visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads looking at Mel Kiper's big board.

Again, I don't start it dewd. Pay attention. Facts are facts. I have never been even so much as reprimanded here that i can remember.

    • Roger all that. Do you think BY avoided any sacks last game? This oline is not what you're touting them to be. They are much better then 2023! Much much much better than 2023. But come on now, you'd expect this expensive oline (most are run blocking specialist) to at least dominate in the run game every game.  And... I keep telling you our WRs and TEs are not that good yet. I mean last Sunday was a prime example. Our receiving targets never make plays like those. Never. And this is from one of the worst teams in the league. Shough could have easily had 3 INTs if not for his receivers making plays on the ball. Our guys just don't do that. XL almost allowed an INT backing up out of bounds instead of coming to the ball. And everyone would have blamed that on BY. That's why he doesn't throw to that dude. I can't recall a game except maybe the second Falcons game - maybe, where I thought our receivers could possibly be better than the other team's. I think TMac and Coker have a lot of potential. But they're aren't consistent. But they're young and WILL improve. I'm confident of that.  I don't agree that BY was drafted to only stand in the pocket. He has always been best off schedule - for better or worse.
    • Do you think you will get a direct answer?  Icky giving up 5 pressures (playing hurt in his defense) by himself and Bryce only getting sacked once tells you he played well in the pocket.  He extended plays and converted some tough downs.
    • I've been very apprehensive about potentially firing yet another head coach. But Canales needs to focus on being a head coach first and foremost and begin handing off some responsibilities like playcalling duties and begin overseeing the entire team or we need to assess all possible ideal HC candidates in the offseason.
