Ditch Clausen, pick up Chris Redman

Said it before, will say it again. I'd rather have Dennis Dixon, or now Vince Young, given that we have Cam Newton.

Falcons O isn't complex enough to warrant picking up an ex-dirty bird anyway. First Down, dropped pass to Roddy White. Second down, 3 yard Michael Turner run. Third down, deep ball to Julio Jones. Repeat, with the occasional ball to Tony G.

Not sure about the idea that just because Cam happens to be mobile that any other black mobile quarterback is the perfect backup. I'm pretty sure D.A. would thrive better in Chudz offense.

Also, have you even seen how bad Vince Young is now??

...what does that have to do with anything?

Exactly. I just named Young and Dixon cuz they can run, same as Cam. Race has nothing to do with it. Hell, I'd take Colin Kapernick as our #3, and I'm not even sure what his ethnicity is.

    • I'm looking at the schedule and I see a 10+win season easy.  I think Carolina goes undefeated in the division.  I also believe that the Bears, Bengals, Lions, Browns, Steelers are very winnable.  Revenge game with phillips and the eagles could be a win.  Honestly only 2 games I see as chalking up a L to off the bat is the Seahawks and Broncos.
    • I guess so. Don't think I was involved with previous discussions.  Tepper is one of the newest owners in the NFL. Dan is going into his 3rd season as a GM - ever. Dave is going into his 3rd season as a HC - ever. Before becoming a HC, he was an OC/playcaller for one season total. Idzik is about to go into his 1st year as a play caller - ever. WRs are rookies, sophomores and 3rd year guys - though the experienced 3rd year guys are XL and Coker (who has missed a ton of games). TEs are guys going into their 2nd and 3rd seasons, and Tommy Tremble - though Sanders has missed a ton of games. QB has played 3 years. Chuba is an experienced RB, but Brooks and Etienne have taken very little snaps at the position. O-line is more experienced vets with some talent - which is HUGE. Need them to stay healthy. I mean the offense is very young in every aspect except O-line. You see it differently?
