Winners & Losers Of Tonights Game (?)

Recommended Posts

I agree about AE. I'm not an App or Armanti homer, but he did show enough for me to get a last chance. We got to see some of that athleticism tonight but he still has to learn the nuances of the position.

I won't be upset if they hang on to him, the problem is he's got more competition than the last two seasons and I'm really interested in Green and Bryant.

Winners: Clausen, Bryant, Green, Barnidge, phillips, Smith (one td allowed but the rest was good play), Josh Norman, Pilares, Keiser. Smith, Poole. Nortman(solid man just solid). Campbell.

Losers: Armanti, Armanti, Armanti, Arijotutu, Josh Thomas, Armanti, the special teams as a whole, Joe Adams (tonight he wasn't doing much good but he's still a good player.), Armanti, Jordan Pugh, Armanti.

Thomas was really the one that got beat on that TD pass and made a ST gaffe or two that I can remember, but he looked as good or better than you'd hope for your last string CB when he was playing defense (other than the long TD). I wouldn't call him a winner or loser of the game. I thought Clausen looked better than usual, but still got scared with any kind of pressure and threw the ball away too quick. Both the RBs were winners, they both looked really good. Medlock is the biggest loser of this game, but as a young guy he'll be excused for the (brief) time being for buckling under pressure.

Ok, I remember the ST play now.

But on the TD toss, I have a hard time laying blame on anyone. It really looked like he and Smith were both in good position, but it was a perfect throw and an equally impressive catch.
