What the fug is up with ZERO running. Plus Cam overrated?

Let's be honest. Guy hasn't faced real criticism yet. He was a turnover machine today. Defense looked good for the most part. We needed to get into different formations on offense. Not all Cam's fault but it would be nice if he had the ability to take a snap under center. Constant communication problems between Cam and Kalil, seemed surprised to get the snap at times. Cam's body language seems to change for the worse when the physical pressure revs up. Doesn't secure the ball in the pocket. He's trying to hard to be a pocket passer. Guy needs to run to be successful. He didn't run.

Could be that being away from Charlotte truly was a distraction and wasn't a "bonding experience."

Thomas Davis played great. Good to see Beason back. Captain actually appeared to be our best cb today, which is good for him but means we fugged. Kuechly seemed quiet today. Amini got manhandled. Offensive line was so bad at times it made me wonder if Cam pissed them off in the huddle.

Cam has got talent, but he melts down after taking hits. It's almost like I can watch is psychology wilt and he takes a self defeatist approach when things don't go his way. His stats may have been ok, but he didn't make the right reads.

I don't think it's hits that bother him, I just think he gets impatient. He sees the offense not doing anything and he sees the defense giving up points and he kind of goes into desperation mode a little early and starts forcing things.

He's still a young QB.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
    • Totally possible imo, I also caught that snippet from Morgan where he said “If” we sign him. The lack of competition says otherwise tho 🤷‍♂️
