So, how many altercations will we have Sunday?

I thought you meant in the stands... the players, meh... probably none.

Nah, last home game vs NO was extra heated. With the team feeling like they were disrespected last year, plus with the bounty scandal. Both teams are desperate for a win.

0. im sure there will be some talk but i highly doubt the altercation like last time happen. i think both sides coaches werent very happy about it last time. and really, its not good for the sport. jmo

Since that last altercation....the Saints* intentionally ran up the score on a depleted defense and it came out the they had a bounty on Cam....

I think Carolina is extra chippy.....we will see if that helps or hurts them. In all honesty of they aren't extra chippy....I will be disappointed. They should have an extra edge for a variety of reasons

I saw the article on PFT (I believe) about them running up the score last year... if the Panthers were a HS or College team I'd have cared more... since it's the pros, and these guys get paid to play, it doesn't rile me up too much. I know other people feel differently, and that's fine... some of the players probably didn't like it, but what do you do? We couldn't stop them... they kept scoring... I hate the Saints* as much as anyone, but had Cam or Smitty been close to a record like that, we probably would have all wanted them to get it too.

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
