Really appreciate you postin these here, Emory... On point analysis whether I agree or not...

Im hopin Eli will pick on Norman, thats what he should do with a rookie. But theres a reason the rook got the start, Norman going to pick Eli right back.... NYGs secondary is a bit hurt, our young guys should be able to step up nicely. LaFell is already showin why he got #2.. cause, you know -he dat deal...

LaFell has 1/3 of the amount of first downs and touchdowns in two games than he did in 16 games last year. He is averaging more than 17 yards per catch and we have Louis Murphy to keep secondaries guessing.

The Giants secondary is shaky and will be even more shaky with guarding the quadruple option.

The Giants are beat up on both sides of the ball. If Bell can play and TD can possibly (this is always an IF with this dude) suit up then man. We'll be 10X more healthy then those dudes. Plus, the pass rush (according to Gaints fans) has been non existent lately. Hopefully hangman keeps his head up and we give our boy protection. He'll pick that poo secondary apart.

One note, Emory...Charles Johnson is typically lining up over the ROT this year, so no need to flip flop him and Hardy.

Good analysis, but of course I disagree with the conclusion.

He was also playing LDE Predominantly last year as well.

i don't see the WRs or the Dline being a liability for the panthers, tbh.

I agree especially about the receivers. He should have called their secondary a liablity against our receivers actually.

Also I would not get overly excited about Johnson going against Locklear. He has played LT for most of his career with the seahawks and did so for the Giants in the first 2 weeks. Then you have Will Beatty taking his place at LT and many Giant fans have been clamoring for this exact thing to happen as they seem down on David Diehl who was previously playing RT. They also finished the game against the Bucs after Diehl went out early (15 snaps) with this exact offensive line they will use against us.

Just to clarify week 1 the giants line was from left to right

Locklear-Boothe-Bass-Snee-Diehl

week 2 starting line

Locklear-Boothe-Bass-Snee-Diehl

week 2 after Diehl went out( the same line they will have against us)

Beatty-Boothe-Bass-Snee-Locklear

    • This is why it doesn't matter if Young is cut, traded or starts, or if Canales is fired or given a contract extension. The results will always be the same. The team hires shitty coaches and acquires shitty QBs. Fine by me to churn again, but at least you and I know it won't make a single bit of difference to the W-L column.
    • Simply running to the first down marker instead of throwing it to a waiting Jags defender on his first INT. Not terribly under throwing the deep ball to Renfrow that should've been a walk in TD. Not sailing the ball over Renfrow's head on the sideline that would've been a big play with a decent throw and another possible TD with a good throw. Throwing the ball to an open Sanders in the endzone instead of sailing it 20 feet over everyone's head leading to a turnover on downs. There were plays to be made and Bryce simply didn't make them. Kinda the main story of his entire career.
    • The proper question is, what good coach with any other options would take the job? Money does not solve the problem. There's no quick fix for this despite what fans think of the players. The problems go much deeper with this organization.
