The guy flat sucked last night. I don't blame Smitty for blowing up. NFL AM was wondering if the lights were too bright since wonderboy couldn't seem to keep his eyes open during the PC.

Bottom line his PC was unprofessional and NOT indicative of an NFL QB and leader. But hey he is young right? I mean Manning I and II, Elway, Young, Montana and pretty much any other decent to great QB had those issues right? Wait...no. None gave a PC acting like they didn't give a poo and with their eyes closed.

So is this guy just majorly immature or is the kid on something?

The kid has been figured out just like all scrambling QB's. Yeah he passed for rookie records blah blah blah, its a much easier league to throw the ball now and the kid did great last year...before defensive coordinators figured him out. Now its time to learn to read Defenses and be a Quarterback and a leader.

Put aside that punk 'Superman' bull poo. Grow the fug up, and start being an NFL QB.

I think he could improve a lot about the way he carries himself as the QB but how many times are you going to say the same thing? What do you expect to get in response to this?

He is nothing but a ME punk who craves the spotlight and wants his commercials. and I will post it till the bastard is run on a rail if he doesn't shape up. Don't like it, dont fuging read what I post.

Yeah trade out, but not gabbert. That said, 'issues'? Being a punk who only cares about his media exposure is more than just an 'issue'. Its his character and its a horrible one for being a starting QB

In the paper. On espn. During press conferences. On the sideline. On the field.

I mean it's like poo in the rain..ever see poo in the rain? It's a damn sloppy ploppy mess and it stinks.

      I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.

      Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.

      Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
