I still find it very odd that he has basically been "disappeared" South American style. No one talks about him. The reporters haven't asked the team about him.

His illness may be something significant or he may have some personal issues. Of course, he may be perfectly fine, but it just is odd that he is now eligible to join the team and no one has said anything.

Practice squad players can re-join the team for practice week 6. The team then has 3 weeks to either put them on IR, or activate them to the 53. So they essentially get a free 3 week evaluation period.
