there was no way Stewart wasn't getting that foot. Tolbert either, that is both of their specialties. Impossible to stop behind the line on a quick handoff.

The Saints 4th and 1 was a horrible playcall/decision on Cam's part.

Just put Tolbert at FB, inside handoff, boom theres your foot, game over. Should have done it on 3rd down instead of running Cam.

When he was hired I thought he would have had a much more aggressive coaching style.Having said that this decision should not mark him as a coach.Many other coaches would have done the same thing but for me I did not like the odds being our secondary is so depleted of talent.I did like the odds of Cam picking up one yard.

Exactly... if the Panthers win the game, Rivera is a genius for pinning them on their 1 yd line. If they go for it and don't get it, then why would he go for it and give Ryan such good field position? Particularly when Cam just fumbled the previous play...

I think many are just forgetting we have a first time HC with a 2nd year QB. Last year was a recipe for disaster, particularly without OTAs. This year we should expect true growing pains and maturation of key players. Naka is new to the team, and Martin probably should have been allowed to start the season, unless there was more to it than his on-the-field issues. It's obvious Martin is an athlete. He was just caught out of position way more than he should have. An offseason of coaching could have helped that.

And, not to pile on the excuses, but this team was put together to play a completely different style of football than Chud and McD want them to. There will be growing pains... bad decisions, worse execution, but I think they're going in the right direction. We'll be fine.
