Observation of a weak fan base!

Get rid of PSL and it should see an improvement in the atmosphere. Get rid of the pre game prayer....I know we are in the Bible Belt but I've never played a sport game or gone to a event that they do that except for the YMCA. Encourage fans to stand and cheer, not kick them out for doing this.

Hell yes! I'd sure as hell sell my PSLs back. It would have to be voluntary though. There are many that would sue to keep the contract the Panthers have made with them. But I'd sure as hell sell mine back now.

Eagles haven't won a Damn thing and they are as rabid as it gets

they've at least been quite competitive and have been around for a long time. there are generations of eagles fans.

they also don't have to deal with the same influx of out of towners bringing in their own teams. your average joe on the street in philadelphia is probably an eagles fan.

weak fanbase? or

sign of a losing team's fanbase? new frnachise at that

don't have a problem with it because poo like this is the only thing JR cares about. If we were 0-16 each year but people filled the stadium, bought gear, got sales up I see it really hard for JR to give a poo. That is what I think is part of the problem now, lot of money in Cam not so much in the Panthers. No need for there to be.

really you'd probably even see an improvement if the team bought out all the PSLs in maybe two upper deck sections and replaced it with a single game ticket "fan zone" or something where all the drunk hell raisers and college kids could pile in for cheap.

considering the way the ticketing scheme is set up and of course the family friendly thing our ownership tries to push i don't think that would ever happen though. plus that would mean taking a ton of locked in season ticket revenue and just lighting it on fire if the seats didn't sell.

That's a really good idea, but like you said, it'll never happen.

I don't think that is a fair comparison at all. They may not have won a championship but in the last decade or so they have won more games than all but 3 or so other team; have something like 8 playoff births; 5 NFC East titles; NFC champsionship appearances and a super bowl appearance, That is not the same compared to 4 winning season in 17 or 18 years for a frachise with no real history. You just can't compare the two.

Besides, sports in general is a way of life in Philly....it's what they live for, 95% of that town are born and raised there and it's all that many of those people have. Charlotte will never be that way and that's not a bad thing.

People start leaving with 10 minutes left in the game because they usually have a reason to.

I don't agree w/ selling your PSLS to opposing fanbases, but if some poor person is dumb enough to offer you his life savings to see the Cowboys/Redskins/Steelers because they can't afford to go to that city to see them then man you gotta do what you gotta do.

It wouldn't surprise me to see retards like Grits give away his kid's college fund so he can go see the Skins when they are in Charlotte. Let's face it: this is as close as they can afford to get.

BTW: I had the best seats I've ever had to a Panthers game on Sunday. We were in a box. Sadly, they were wasted on a boring game.

Over/under on there being Cowboys gear in the team store on game day?

I've been to 2 Panther/Cowboy games. It's basically 50/50 which is essentially a home game for the Cowboys.

At least people are starting to come around about how awful the gameday Panther fans are. It's gotta change sometime. Why not now???

    • Not sure I completely agree but it's a pretty accurate list
    • If Reich or Fitterer were still around I think the need to extend Young because of what he cost would be stronger.  And yeah Morgan was Fit's right hand when the call was made but there an equal chance that Dan will see it as a chance to move on from Fit and shake off that stink. Holding out some hope that 3 years and clear eyes will allow for an honest appraisal that Young just aint the guy
    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
