people said the same thing about delhomme and smith..but delhomme had a career season in 2004 when smith was out.

it's a little too early to say green is making dalton look good.

Have you seen the ridiculous catches AJ makes repeatedly? He constantly wins 1 on 1 coverage and catches most jump balls.

Not saying Dalton is terrible but he's not the elite type, as in can he make all the throws? The answer to that is no.

If anyone is thinking Cam is having a slump they didnt watch Cam last year. Same cycle as last year just a poorer gameplan. Air Coryell>>>>Read option. I watched Michigan run the same style offense we have for the whole season Saturday.

there's a dedicated dalton defense squad on this board.

fwiw i don't really buy the "he just slings it up for green!" argument. he's a west coast dink and dunker who can't handle very much of the game being put on him; not a gunslinger archetype at all. when he's asked to carry the team you get games like what we saw against the browns and ravens earlier this year.

9 INTs through six games is a lot of picks by any metric, but it's acceptable to people on this board who never liked our starting quarterback and need an alternative to root for.

i will admit, dalton is the guy i wanted in the draft. i felt carolina needed to draft defense first then make a push for dalton second. i was of the belief that the team was in no shape to draft a qb first overall and put itself in a position to start winning. imo, all they needed was a serviceable qb.

dalton has led 5 4th quarter comeback game winning drives so far...so no, when he's asked to carry the team, you don't always get games like the browns and ravens. he has to learn how to play better against his division rivals.

it is a lot of pics, but at the same time his 2 td per game average is much better than last season too.

Funny how the media isn't bashing Dalton for his poor performances. Obvious bias is obvious.

No it's not funny.

Dalton is on pace for more yards and more TDs this year. He has improved his passer rating, his completion percentage, and his yards per pass. His only dowfall this season is that he on pace for more interceptions.

Of course I wouldn't expect you to look into any of this yourself as you are too busy whining as usual.

i guess so, since dalton is actually doing better this season than he was last.

2011 thru 6 games - completed 118 of 189 passes (62.4%) for 6.9 ypa, 1311 yards, 7 tds, 5 ints

2012 thru 6 games - completed 142 of 215 passes (66%) for 8.0 ypa, 1726 yards,12tds, 9 ints

The best defense he's played is Miami who is 19th in the league, where he managed a 5.4 ypa and a 62.5 rating. The other defenses are 27th, 29th, and the 30th ranked one twice.
