I miss Bojangles man :-(

I'm all about the idea of Price's, I want it to be good. It's a cool piece of history or whatever, but Bojangles literally rips it's skull out and stomps on it in terms of fried chicken.

Just my opinion though

I don't care if we come out sounding like assholes but that is what this is exactly what is wrong with this fan base. Way too welcoming to visiting team's fans. We will never have a stadium filled with our own fans like Arrowhead, Lambo, or any of the other great stadiums because we are way too welcoming. I'm sorry for football fans being assholes. What a shocker. I'm sure if he went to any other legit football team's fan forum and posted the same exact thing he would have been treated exactly the same way. And I promise you he will be one of the obnoxious Dallas fans wearing a torn up faded Troy Aikmen jersey. I'm sick of Panther's fans welcoming opponents fans into our stadium. That's not how it works. But yay! Can't wait to be annoyed this Sunday by visiting fans like I am every Sunday. The only thing embarrassing about our fans is the ones that welcome opponents to our stadium. I'm glad we have some guys with balls in here that can tell them they aren't welcome. Sorry but that's just how I feel about it without being too big of a jerk.

you are an absolute moron. i think bank of america stadium is the biggest joke of a stadium that there is, but being nice to people on fan forums is not the reason why. this man respectfully came here asking for help. he is traveling with his father. by you not telling him where he can go to eat or spend some down time is not the reason why there will be more Cowboy fans in BOA than Panther fans. fans not being fan weathered and selling their tickets when the team is bad or screaming over Cowboy fans at the game will effect the stadium atmosphere. telling a guy who is coming here from Minnesota to eat poo when asking where to eat with his father has absoltuely 100% no correlation between why BOA sucks. unreal. the Giants and Jets have hands down a better stadium atmosphere than the Panthers, but you still go to games and see NY fans being very cordial with other fans. the difference is you dont get kicked out for cursing and standing up like you do in good ole Charlotte.

While I understand what you are trying to say I think you are completely wrong. I went to Lambeau four years ago and ended going back three years in a row because they were so accomodating and fun to party with. I have been to Arrowhead multiple times as well and it is the same story. In fact in both places people have thanked us for coming.

We expect the poo talking but for it to be fun and to be over a few beers with the fans. We want to experience what you experience for every Panthers game. If we wanted to be with Cowboys fans we would just go to the Cowboys games in Dallas. We were at the Tampa game last year and honestly it sucked because 75 percent of the fans were Dallas fans.

So actually in summary I think the more accommodating the better. I'll buy the first round and you the buy the second and ten rounds later we are friends.

You really do not need to explain yourself, you are 100% right. There are just some idiots on these boards. There is a difference between being douches like Philly and good loyal fans like Green Bay, Some people here think Bank of America Stadium sucks because we Panther fans dont punch every opposing fan in the face.

You make me sad, sir.

I'm only going on about this becuase I am procrastiating doing something else....

There were a group of people who came in town for a business trip and insisted we go there against my warning becuase they saw it on Diner's Drivins & Dives or whatever. They were like "what is this crap?" and then we all fought over the one bathroom in the office. It's mental hospital food.

Eh - it's a taste thing I guess.

I really do enjoy it quite a bit (I work pretty close myself three days a week when I'm not in Concord).

Haha...I bet half of you bad-a$$es in this thread won't say sh*t to a cowboy fan in the stadium...

I moved outta Charlotte in 2002....I've been back once....Uptown is nice, you can't go wrong around there. Also love the UNCC area by the lake off Harris blvd...go 9ers :-)

I had four Cowboys fans kicked out of BOA. They were obnoxious and unruly, and one of the guys (there were 2 guys and 2 gals) physically assaulted me ... instead of my grown son or the burly ballplayer who sits in front of us. Me, because I'm 5-feet-nothing and female. Showed him. (After he did that, it was all I could do to keep my son and the ballplayer from ripping him apart - I didn't want them kicked out or arrested!)

The problem cowboyjoe is that for some reason in Charlotte, the biggest pieces of trash in the surrounding area happen to be Cowboys fans that couldn't even point out Texas on a map. These are the fans you will likely be high-fiving in B of A on Sunday in a stadium that will probably be 60% Cowboys (and even more as the game goes on and our fans abandon ship). The few of us here who do go to the games (and stay) are kinda sick of it, hence the reaction you got in your first reply.

    • Nothing wrong with starting to look for bodies early. It's a long injury filled season. I doubt we get through unscathed.
    • We're in alignment regarding Thielen not being a game changer/breaker for the Panthers. Getting the ball into hands of playmakers like TMac and XL is going to open up things more than it is getting it to Thielen underneath (or letting him go after 50/50 balls 20yds downfield in his mid-30s). However, in a room where the other guys are two second year guys and two rookies, having a reliable vet that they can learn from is just as important as it is for the QB to have as a reliable third option. I can see that being worth $8.5M (just 3%) of the $279.2M cap... especially when looking at what's left out there: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/_/position/wr However, the idea that the team is forcing production to Thielen and leading to losses isn't supported by the data. Targets, not receiving yards, are how you can tell if a player is being "force fed." In the two games mentioned, let's look at the other players available... vs. TB 10 targets - Adam Thielen 9 targets - David Moore 8 targets - Tommy Tremble, Xavier Legette 3 targets - Jonathon Brooks 1 target - Dan Chisena, Feleipe Franks, Stephen Sullivan vs. PHI 11 targets - Adam Thielen 8 targets - Xavier Legette 5 targets - Chuba Hubbard, David Moore 2 targets - Tommy Tremble 1 target - Ja'Tavion Sanders, Deven Thompkins There isn't exactly a bounty of other names to throw the ball to. In those games, AT was one of the top 2 WRs. Diontae had been gone by that point.   So... yea. Agreed that Thielen isn't exactly carrying the team in his mid-30s, but it's undeniable that he was the most reliable target last season that still has quite a bit of value this season. Whether or not that value is reflected in a manner folks think on the contract is going to come down to personal taste. However, the idea that the team was forcing production to AT and that was the reason behind some losses couldn't be further from the truth.
    • I would also add that I think it's more than money.  AT has looked absolutely miserable out there at times, and there was a lot of speculation he would demand to be traded.  Personally, I thought he was a lock to be moved last year.  Maybe his hamstring is the only thing that prevents that from happening. The fact that he's not only willing to come back and play, but excited about it, really bodes well for Bryce.  AT is a veteran and he knows the game.  If he didn't have confidence in Bryce, I guarantee you he wouldn't be in a Panther uniform this year.  I'll take that as a positive.
