Panthers shuffle O-Line

RG Bell > RT Bell

RT Williams > RG Williams

Now how fast they gel is another thing.

Simple and to the point. Even the unfunniest of Huddlerz should get this.

If Williams can hold the fort. This move can actually work out well for the long run. Once Kalil gets back, hangman can go back to being the back-up security blanket.

Unfortunately, if Williams fails, we could be in trouble. Campbell seems to be an afterthought, so who would be the next RT? I don't even want to think about the circus this could become.

Pretty much.

Hangartner at center is probably about the same as Hangartner at guard. Doubt there's a better option on roster at this point though.

Vaguely remember the Eagles old center Jamaal Jackson wanted to make a comeback but I wouldn't bet on him being in football shape (assuming he's even healed)

I remember when we signed Hangartner from Buffalo and almost immediately put him in as starter at RG. My first thought at the time was that it was a Marty orchestrated move. Hangartner was never that good to begin with, but he was a Panthers kind of guy. Moves like that made me think that Marty had more say over who played than we'd like to think. I also remembered the press conference after they fired Fox when JR and MH said they wanted a coach that would fit into their system rather than one that would dictate how things should be run. Ron may not have had much choice in who he played at RG.

In any case, the best thing that could happen would be for Hangartner to fill the role of the super flexible backup going forward, as he has no business being the starting center or guard (as Buffalo discovered).
