What you don't do in the NFL

You don't pay two running backs starting money and give them two carries a game. You don't sign Mike Tolbert to run deep routes. You don't put more money towards the rushing attack than any team in the league and run the ball 149 times after 6 games, that's tied with the Buccaneers for 24th in the league. You don't look for your starting DT's in the sh!t end of free agency. You don't pay all your "core" players like they're Tom Brady and then fill in your holes in the late rounds of the draft. I could go on and on. And oh yeah, the read option doesn't work. WELCOME TO THE NFL.

    • Man, I havent posted in a while, happy to see the forum is alive and well!  Really excited about this upcoming season, and this draft class!  Lee Hunter will be an instant fan favorite, i might go ahead and purchase his jersey.  Will be interesting to see what we do at Receiver, a lot of talent and a lot of bodies, does XL get traded, or do they give him a shot this season to see what he has?
    • Goings was good too.
    • I appreciate TMo, he has been a rock. Plug and play, set and forget. But there are stories that they ice his knees or knee in game when he goes to the sidelines. If it is that bad that is pretty rough and it probably won’t get better with age and more wear.     You want to pay him, and commit that money, I shouldn’t object. But let’s at least roll him over a year at a time.  He isn’t a particularly good long term gamble.
