If You Don't Support Cam, You Can GTFOH

I think Cam has the talent to be the best QB in the league (at least top 5). He's playing like about the 16 or 17th best QB in the league.

I saw improvement today when Smith was credited with a catch near the end of the 1st half, Cam got the team to the line and got the play off before it could be reviewed. ( this was something he/ the team didn't do in the Atlanta game.

Cam's accuracy was bad today (right at 50%).

Hopefully, the new coach will implement the 2 TE sets more often, Cam plays the best when he has 2 Te's.

I have to agree. He is a Panther so I support him, but I don't like him as my QB and believe he is seriously a head case.

To be fair, he had a game winning drive today after that pick six (that wasn't his fault). The defense just didn't stop them.

You guys judge him differently every week.

He gave us the lead the last time he touched the ball.

Isn't that what you guys wanted??

I remember last year you same guys were all like "Derp... he had 3 great quarters but he failed on his last possession and we could have won"

Now it is "Derp... yeah he gave us the lead on his last possession but those three quarters... derp"

Make up you fuggin minds and quit pulling for guys on your team to fail just because it gives you permission to troll.

Why don't you go and be a Redskins fan then? You sure aren't adding anything positive to our fan base anyways.

I grew up 15 minutes from DC and was a Skins fan so I know what a fanatic fan base is like. I am a Panthers fan now and will die one. I'll add something positive as soon as the team does.

Cam does not suck , he had over 300 yrds today. On his picks, one he tried to throw away and the other one smitty slipped. On his inaccurate throws most of the time he was hit as he was throwing. Did he make bad throws today...yes...did he fumble today(great hit on D) yes......guess what he is a second year player. I still believe Newton will be great.

Cam will be fine especially with a better coaching staff/calling, but most importantly some WR weapons. Real weapons

I'm not saying Cam is immune for criticism, but wanting/waiting and the negativity for him to fail is downright lame

Are you fuging serious? Big surprise, another one with an agenda.

I dont have an agenda. We're 1-5 this year in games decided by 7 or fewer points. We were something like 2-12 last year in the same types of games. At what point do we start to look at Cam and say, hey young man, you need to play better? Are you kidding me bro. STFU.

Holy poo, is this really what the forum has become? A bunch of seething hate, idiots so inept that they fail to see a receiver slipping on a stupid timing route called by the OC? Or so blind that they can't see a TE failing to come back for the ball, or even attempt to stop a defensive player driving on the ball?

Pathetic.

Cam Newton is tremendously talented and I support him 100%. Yes, he tossed the ball for 300 yards today, but he was just barely over 50% on completions. He has been terribly inconsistent, his mechanics are poor, and he does not take care of the ball. I don't know how you fix that. His mistakes happen every week and it just seems like he does nothing to fix them.

Cam Newton had 314 yards passing because of a huge gain on blown Chicago coverage and an unbelievable catch by Steve Smith on a jump ball. He also threw two picks and probably should have thrown 2 more. He made zero plays in the red zone. At this point Cam Newton is just a mediocre young player with good size and mobility. Kid throws a lot of balls into the ground around open receivers.

    • https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp Going by this chart that won’t get it done, at all.  both of our 5th rounders are worth 56, total.    The 51st is valued at 390. Moving to 41 takes 100 points. In the second where we are, it is basically 10 points per slot. You can get in front of TB for 60 points. Baltimore at 45.  Which who would do that for 56 points? You are on a wing and a prayer.    To realistically have a good shot at these top guys, outside of Golday, it is gonna take at least 100 points, I am thinking.  And when they go, Golday’s market probably gets a lot hotter.  Just going by the rankings/valuations, I am thinking if you realistically want to assure you get your guy it will take trading back in the first. Which is why I have been saying to do that if we can.  For example 19 is valued at 875. 21 is 800. That, plus one of the 5ths gets you to 100 points which you theoretically could use to get to 41.    I think there are going to be several good options for us at 19, if we are good with taking what is left at 21-23 we can get a good player plus fund a trade up for one of these LBs which is what I am thinking makes sense.
    • Alabama money line is a big one.
    • I'm just letting everyone know he's on the list in the second tier, not that I think it gets there because Donovan wants the job.  UNC is waiting on Lloyd and Arizona's run to end, if that doesn't work out then Donovan is likely the new head coach.
