Amazing Talents at the WR Postition in 2013

I know it's like a <1% chance it will happen but is marquis lee from USC at ALL eligible to declare this year? Just out of curiosity that's all

He'll probably declare for 2014. Assuming we still don't suck by then, I'd want to trade up to get him Falcons-style. Cam would benefit with two Pro Bowl WRs, and Smitty will probably be gone by then...

I think Allen, T Williams, Quinton Patton, Patterson all have WR1 ability and are very well rounded.

To quote arguably the top CB prospect Jonathan Banks: "I feel like (Quinton Patton) from Louisiana Tech is the best receiver I've played against since I've been here. I've gone against some good ones in the SEC, too, but he's probably the most complete."

I'd go Hankins/Star in the 1st and Patton/T-Will in the 2nd with a strong o-lineman like Uzzi if he's there in the 4th

Upgrade the secondary in the FA

I am afraid all the good WRs (#1 wr talent) will be gone by the second round. For example, walterfootballs latest mock has Allen, Woods, Hunter, Williams, and Patterson ALL gone before our second round pick at #35...

Because I believe getting a number 1 WR is so damn important for the development of Cam and our offense as a whole, I would try hard to trade down in the first and grab an extra second rounder and take the best WR there in the middle of the first round.

Then our first couple picks could go something like: WR, OL, FS

I think there's a chance Patterson is there. The kid is a playmaker with the ball in his hands but he is extremely raw as a WR. Either way if the top WR's are gone then go BPA. There should be a great CB or OG on the board. One thing is for sure is that this draft looks pretty deep. So I would look into trying to trade back into the 3rd.

Patterson might not be entering the draft.

"Those same sources also said character issues could raise red flags on Bray. The Vols will almost certainly have a new coaching staff next season so Bray has a chance to improve his game under different decision makers, but we don't disagree with this "foregone conclusion." Pauline adds that junior receiver Cordarrelle Patterson is likely to stay."
