Official Broncos at Panthers Gameday Thread...

He could of, but the offensive line could have blocked the guy instead of letting him come around the corner untouched. Again, I try to hold the entire team accountable, not just Cam (who has made several poor decisions)....

That's right it's the whole damn team and coaching staff, no one player.

Im done with you Cam apologists, im starting to just think a lot of you are Auburn fans or something, its as clear as day Cam doesnt have "it" Its ok. I got railed months ago calling for Hurney's head before it was cool and im getting railed now, Cam is NOT a true franchise QB or leader and time will show im right.

Question. When Cam left the field in ATL and in CHI, which team had the lead?

Check my sig, then ask me if I'm an Auburn fan. Anyone who has been on the Huddle pre Cam can attest that I was vehemently against drafting Cam until it was pretty much inevitable. Just ask KT what I thought about Cam before the draft. That said, anyone who thinks Cam is the problem with this offense knows jack poo about football. Of course your QB is going to look bad when your offensive line allows pass rushers in the backfield the moment the ball is snapped, and when you're receivers can't get open....

The OL is playing like trash but even in the first half when he had time he missed poo all day and held onto the ball too long.

Just b/c the line can't block doesn't mean Cam gets rid of it on time. Anyone who knows anything about football has noted as much, on twitter and elsewhere.

Anyone who knows anything about football, knows he's only been in the league 1 3/4 years! fug! you people are amazing.

Yeah he totally sucked. We always won despite him. He never played well. He was a pooey team player.

Really he started sucking after Tommy John, before that he was fine.

One thing I liked about Jake is that he did have heart, and I will say this Cam needs to show some.

    • A winning record would be nice, but I still have us winning around the 6 to 8 game mark. Realistically we should beat the Jets and Saints, that gets us to 5 wins. After that, we have to face a lot of potential play off teams and our divisional opponents. I think we’ll win 1 or 2 of those games to take us to 6 or 7 wins, perhaps 8 wins if we can spring a further surprise.  Is that enough progress for head coach and QB? I’m not sure, it will depend on performances and output. That said, it’s nice to be back in a position where we are thinking about the play offs.
    • I would tend to agree about not falling into the trap and paying a below average QB, but sometimes situations can “force” a team to pay that QB. For example, if we play ourselves into a 9-8 like record, then what options will we have in the draft? Or do we avoid the draft and trade for or sign someone in free agency?  I’m not convinced by the 2026 QB draft class. There’s some intriguing prospects but no one that really screams “draft me”. I’m not sure we’ve got anyone really that stands out as a trade candidate or free agent signing. So although we might not want to commit a big money contract to Young, him playing well and showing progress might force the team’s hand.
    • Realistically we would be looking at no more than a mid round pick for Dowdle or Chuba. Are we really that desperate for a mid round pick? Not really. I would much prefer us utilise the two RBs in a 1-2 punch similar to how we used D-Will and Stewart. After all, Bryce is not Drew Brees. He won’t throw for 300+ yards and carry the team consistently as a passer. So having a strong running game with a 1-2 punch will be beneficial to him, and it will also be beneficial to the RBs because we can spell them and not overwork them.
