I will take 3 playoff berths, two division titles, a super bowl appearance and two NFC championship games over retard Ron any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Some people on this forum wouldn't know a good coach if it smacked them right in the face. Fox had a great run here but all you ever hear from forum retards is "derp, derp 7-9, derp, derp 8-8, derp, derp win 6 of last 7 to finish at .500." I think before 2009 or 10 we had the second most wins among NFC teams during Fox's tenure behind only the eagles. Since Jerry made the horrible decision to throw 2010 away and then compounded problems by hiring Ron this franchise has been nothing but pure poo. Yeah I'd take fox back.

i loved fox for a long time, but was glad when he left. He never evolved with the new nfl passing game. The success in Denver is from peyton and the D. Dont say The Golden Calf of Bristol last year, that was the D and lots of luck. I wasnt impressed with Chico the first year but gave a pass, i hate him this year.

I HATE CHUD the most though.

Let’s talk about Fox for a minute. He was left for the last 3-4 season with little to know say so in personnel decisions. If you think for one second that he wanted to draft 3 WR in high rounds that were busts. Or if you think he wanted to draft Clausen or Edwards when you needed to draft DT’s at the time you’re out of your minds.

Our former GM is the reason FOX is gone. His poor drafting and taking the player decisions out of Fox’s hands and not including your HC in the decision is BS.

The HC should be the first and last person that makes a decision on player movement, not matter if it’s Draft, FA, resign or cutting a player. It’s his system had he needs to have more say so in the matter than a GM or a team owner. Look at the Cowboys owner/GM, how many times has he had busts in the draft and spent large sums of money in FA to only build a mediocre team. Owners should own, GM’s should manager, HC should be the payer evaluater and that’s that.

Everyone hated Fox in 2010, but you cant blame him for the situation he was in. Blame the Owner and GM. they screwed this team up big time. with poor judgmeyn, drafting, signing of players.... the list goes on and on.

Look at Fox, in 2 years, hes got a winning team. even his first year in Denver, the team went from 4-12 to 8-8 and had a playoff win. He's been involved in every aspect of personnel with the Broncos. Just like he was early on with the Panthers. When the GM started to take that away form him, the team went down hill with horrible draft picks.

yeah i'm sure bringing in peyton manning was fox's idea. totally his style.

what fox did here and what he's doing in denver is apples to oranges. he had full veto power over every single play called here on offense and defense. lol if you think he has that in denver.

what he did as judge, jury and executioner here =/= his duties as head speech giver, sideline clapper, and gum chewer for the broncos. that's exactly the way he needs to be used-motivator and "leader of men" or whatever cliche you want with limited control over other aspects of the game. we went through two different offensive coordinators and three different DCs with fox here-do you think it's just a coincidence that we pretty much had the exact same style no matter who was "coordinating" the offense? there were a few different wrinkles that came into play with the defense between the del rio/trgovac/meeks eras but it was largely small potatoes.

I dont miss Fox at all. That ship has sailed and his loyalty towards veterans and the lack of adjusting just killed what was some very talented teams we had. Now he has Peyton and suddenly we all miss him?

ha no thanks.

No I kinda missed him already last season when he had Orton and The Golden Calf of Bristol and made the playoffs. I only tried to convince myself to think that Rivera was better. A lot of you guys are still trying to convince y'all self that Foxy was bad.

Hey at least Foxy found ways to play The Golden Calf of Bristol into his strengths and not weaknesses. And ofcourse it was a lot of the D. But who's D? Foxy's D. He always had Defenses here and he took it to Denver with him.
