The only thing he has going for him is that this team is willing to play hard for him.

If JR and the new GM see that as a major positive, I can see him staying one more year to fulfill the rest of his contract. I would expect to see new coordinators come in if that's the case.

P.S Just watching win total is shot-sighted. You have to evaluate the coaching. How they are at developing players, putting them in the right places and giving them confidence to execute. drawing up proper game plans and willing to adjust them in game, having a consistent philosophy on offense, defense and ST, so the team can buy in 100%, making proper in game decision's such as timeouts, 4th downs, FGs, punts... etc

For the most part Rivera and co has failed at most of these points, and that's why I think he will/should be fired not just because we have a bad record.

As I've said before, stick with Rivera and the entire staff....continuity is the key to winning. Sure, the coaching staff, Cam, etc. have all made plenty of mistakes. Keep em for at least 2-3 years....I don't think people realize how hard it to get a competent coach....experience makes competent coaches....we got rid of one.....stick with this guy for 2-3 more years before pulling the trigger...he's learninig and getting better.
