Steve Buerlein, I know many of you may disagree

But IMO he's a damned idiot in this game.

He shouldn't have thrown that pass that hit Smitty right in the damned hands, Steve? The fact is that YOU likely would have never in your wildest dreams have been able to make a throw like that, but Newton DID (and can).

And, yeah, Newton did kick the guy. Should have kept his cool. But another fact is that he did it because the guy was rolling on him and pushing him into the ground.

Yeah, I'm mad.

But Buerlein mad too.

Cam has a right to kick the guy if he was doing more than he should as a defender. It was being done to him and he reacted like many of you would have.

It's not like the case with Matthew Stafford when he got into a fight with the other side cause his team was losing. Notice he was praised as protecting his team. But since it's Cam, the idiots in our media will put a negative spin on it OR maybe not. We'll see.

It's pathetic.

Greg Hardy's hit on Palmer = obviously a flag

The hit on Cam on the sideline = obviously not because Cam was drawing the play out

"I wouldn't have thrown that pass that hit my receiver in the hands"

"Lienart is really playing like a veteran QB"

From my point of view it didn't seem like the best decision... Smitty had to elevate to even get his hands on it, and it was into what appeared to be double coverage, but I didn't get a great look at the replay and I'm watching on a low quality stream. Might have been a better throw that it appeared on my stream.

    • Assuming Mann is back I’d go ahead and move Green and the first rounder from PHX for a starting center. I prefer Okogie to Green anyway.
    • Been here since the Coliseum days. Hornets were the first pro team I ever rooted for. If they're ever going to get out of the gutter they have to establish a culture. They are trying to do that. I have no idea if it will be successful but it's a start.
    • I don’t think I'd go that far but there is definitely legitimate reason to ask how much he actually values winning and being great as a basketball player. He is very easily distracted with off the court stuff. This has been a public criticism of people like LeBron James with some of the newer generations of "stars". And it is 1000% valid and needed to be said. All I can say is I hope this is the year. If it is it will be apparent fairly early on. But I get the sense if the same themes continue as the upcoming season progresses the FO could look to move him before the trade deadline. It would suck for a multitude of reasons and I don't want to see it happen but if it did it would be on LaMelo and LaMelo alone because they've given him the keys and are finally putting pieces around him. If he wants to be a great basketball player and win he will be here and do what is necessary for the team to be successful. If not well....
