Panthers PR guy is tired of fictional stories about Cam

Charlotte sports radio stations.

Its true, the moment they get any type of rumor they treat that rumor as fact and ride it all day long.

I rarely listen to charlotte sports radio anymore but when I do it's usually for the lolz at other fans calling in

"CAMERON NEEDZ TO STOPS THE SUPAMAN AFTER EVERY FRIST DOWNS!!1!1!"

I do wish that he would do more interviews or show the public who he really is instead of hating all things media. I think it would go a long way towards letting people outside of those who follow the Panthers closely like us to see that he's a great guy and should be a fan favorite.

No it wouldn't. People are gonna say he's fake anyhow. He doesn't owe us as fans anything, except to perform on Sunday. That's it.

Yea but through two years that attitude hasn't gotten us or him anywhere. I think he needs to do a few more interviews or appearances on NFL network or Sunday NFL countdown or something that lets people see who he really is. I know he's a great guy, you know he's a great guy, but the nation does not know because he plays in charlotte and the media paints the picture they want to paint.

There's also a lot of stories out there that I do believe. I mean, they can't all be lies.

I know how people told me Cam acted at the Fan Experience last year in Indianapolis before the Super Bowl. Heard stories from my own family members that he wore his sunglasses indoors the whole time, was not personable, and was in a general bad mood. It happens, no big deal. But I do think there's times when he hasn't done himself any favors. Truth is truth, and I dont think you'll ever see Andrew Luck or Andy Dalton sulk on the bench or in their post game presser like Cam has in the past, even though I wouldn't trade cam for anyone else in the league including them.

For what it's worth, Andrew Luck's press conferences arent even available on the web. I try to watch them to take a look at what he has to say after a loss and they never go up on any site.

    • Outside of cerrato, I do like our draft overall. Hard to get can't miss draft picks when you pick late in the draft
    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
