Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross has reportedly lined up interviews with the Panthers, Jets, Jaguars, and Chargers.

Giants GM Jerry Reese referred to Ross as "the hot prospect" for GM jobs, and that certainly appears to be the case now. A finalist in Chicago last year, Ross is viewed as a good communicator and evaluator with "an executive skill set," as one Giants official told NFL Network's Albert Breer. I think the biggest negative about Carolina is some of the huge contracts he'd have to deal with. New York is a complete clusterfug of a franchise. Plus he has to keep Rex, whereas here in Carolina he has a say in whether Rivera stays or not. Both franchises present some challenges.
