Mike McCoy?

Oh dear lord.

The guy who tried to fix Delhomme's awful mechanics and destroyed him in the process.

FML

no. that was scherer.

mccoy is the guy who's work with the QBs consisted of "hey, jake...throw this football into that trashcan over there.

close enough, let's go grab a burger."

The Denver Defense took them to the playoffs despite the offense. Now that they have an actual OC (Manning) look at them, SB contenders

they had an 8-8 season barely getting through the worst division in the league.

they are successful because of that defense and peyton manning.

mccoy's offense looks good because it's peyton throwing the ball.

The hate here on McCoy is stupid and misplaced. Read up about your old QB coach and know that Delhomme's best season's were under McCoy. (Had to be doing more then asking to throw into a barrel, since the year before McCoy took over Delhomme's season was below average at best, sprinkled with some clutch ass play.

Heck Clayton said that he should get a HC job and a Nobel prize for the work he's done in Denver. He's also extremely smart and very picky.

Also if Peyton has respect for you, your doing something right. One of the biggest reason's he went to Denver - McCoy and his mind for Offense.

But as it related to the game itself, between the lines, the adaptability McCoy showed in his first three years in Denver was as valuable a recruiting tool as anything Fox and Elway had.
