We need to resign our first round picks and not to max deals. We don't have the best players at every position in the league.

Panthers need a run stopping DT who can hopefully provide a little pressure on the QB, as well as a big-bodied WR with the potential to un-throne Smitty as our main wide-out---or one that at least plays big. I think that we could get by on some of the other positions, but it would be nice to add a piece or two to the O-line depending on what vets are here next year, which brings me to what we need most to get this done: cap space. An every-down legitimate safety would be nice, as well as a CB (which may end up being akin to a luxury pick with the development that our young corners showcased the latter part of last season. Lastly, we need our young coaching staff and players to gel, harden, and continue their positive progression---particularly Cam Newton.
