All JR really had to say was that the Panthers are a valuable asset to the people of Charlotte and NC and therefore it is a good investment of the taxpayers money.

It always irks me how Jerry has that NFL pin on his suit. That's great, don't get me wrong but I think the most important thing to him should be the Panthers or Charlotte or the Carolinas. How about a Crown pin or a Carolinas pin. Let the customers know we are number one.

I always love it when JJ Watt or Russell Wilson say "Go Hawks" or "Go Texans". So many times players don't show any pride in their employers. They rep Laker shirts and College hats. As a fan it makes me happy to see my players are proud to be Panthers.

Not kissing anything, just defending a man that I hold in high regard for reasons that have nothing to do with the Panthers. The reporter's question was valid. I don't live in Charlotte or have any idea who that reporter is, but he seemed very eager for a story and I get the feeling he wanted any comment that could be printed out of context. People in the public have to be guarded because of the press.
