Peppers says he will be at training camp

Recommended Posts

It's my thing. Rather than go on a lengthy diatribe of obvious things once my main point has been made I employ an ellipsis to allow the reader to continue the train of thought. That, and it's become a habit. Does it offend you?

Not at all, though I'm sorry if my pointing it out offended you. :)

I just thought it was funny. No offense to any of you ellpsis users.

The question is will Peppers signature be on the new contract at the start of training camp.

I suspect he'll sign his tender only. Doubt any new contract comes about this year unless his mind changes mid-season.

(not out of the realm of possibility if he thrives in Meeks scheme)

I have a hunch the new deal is on the table, and it will be signed at the end of July/first days of August...

Possible.

This is pretty big news, honestly. And if I could, I'd reserve a front row seat for his first day working under Brian Baker. That's got the potential to be the most popcorn worthy part of training camp :lurk5:

i dont think so,seeing as he is not apart of the panthers yet

Hey SC....not trying to rag on you, or start an argument, but your sig brought something to mind that has always been a problem with me.

I love the Panthers, and can never see me wiping my dirty, nasty feet on anything that represents them. Just seems like a mockery, or a slap in the face to me.

Maybe it's just me.....but it just doesn't seem like anything I'd be interested in. Always been that way.....

Not intended to offend..... :cheers2:

    • The motto means nothing if they lay down and submit to the opponent. One of the most embarrassing things I have seen from twenty years of being a fan.  Regardless if the lead seems to be insurmountable, you keep giving 110% untill the final second. Canales is definitely a Beta and it wasn't a good look at all. I wonder what the locker room was whispering about after that sh%t. I hope we never see this again and he actually grows a pair of balls. He needs to look in the mirror and understand that you just don't do that in the NFL. Maybe peewee football so kids don't get hurt. Throw the 3rd stringers in to run the play and finish the game wirh some some pride and don't bend the knee.
    • No but we should have kept both of them. People complaining about what he got paid can’t say much now because it’s absolutely worth it to get 15 sacks which we could desperately use, especially when you compare it to some of the free agents we have signed to try to replace that production (none of them have come close and we are wasting good money on them)
    • That period started rough but the canes stayed with it.  They will when this game 3-1 or 4-2 the way it’s going.
