Bacarri Rambo in the second?

He will go in the 2nd or 3rd (most likely 3rd with his off the field / character concerns)

We almost have to go DL in the 2nd if we dont trade down and take Allen, Austin, or Patterson at 14.

Easy fix: take DT in the 1st, Rambo in the 2nd, win.

But you're right. If we don't take DT in the 1st, we almost have to in the 2nd.

Id like to see some draft day trades to get us a pick in the third with all the needs we need to fill on D, i also think we could hold out

until next year on the WR position, Jordan Matthews out of Vandy is a beast and id like to see us go after a bigger receiver if we are taking one in the first. Tavon is good but just to small and he is no Steve Smith.

With Hixon, I dont want us to draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd.

Much rather trade down and go DT, CB, S, OG or some combination.

My sentiments exactly. We can sustain at the WR position this year and fill other needs. If we walked out of this draft with any 3 out of 4 of those positions you mentioned then Id bet we greatly improved our chances to be a winning team.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
