If he gives us 8 Pro bowls and 6 All Pro seasons and if we win SB's in 14, 15, 18 and 19 then Jack and Luke will be spiritual twins.

I said 2 years ago that Cam will be the first QB to win back-to-back-to-back SB's.

Damn the torpedoes. :)

You mean SB's 48 49 52 53?

ah.....years. :jig:

i've gone back and watched several games and just focused on him. his instincts are through the roof and i honestly think he's going to be the top 4-3 middle linebacker in the league within three years.

Yeah, I've done the same. The dude really is something special... I don't know how the fug he manages to be around the ball every... single... damn... play... like he does. It's like the mother fuger is psychic or something. Even if he never got any better than his rookie year he'd still be great, but it's just scary to think what he might be in a few years.

it's like the snap occurs and he just kind of effortlessly winds through traffic and makes a play on the ball carrier as if he's following a script and he already knows where everything is going. i don't know if that can even be taught.

Instincts are through the roof - agree with that point completely. But please don't underestimate this kid's speed. He gets to the ball about as fast as a safety coming from the secondary for a "hit stick" shot. When he locates the ball, he's there before the ball carrier can figure out his next move.

Luke Kuechly is so rare in France he would be called 'la renarde' and he would be hunted with only his cunning to protect him.

I know we don't do awards around here but if we did... this post^^^^^^^^ would win one. Best i've seen in a while.

I've mentioned it before, but does anybody else remember that hit on Pryor? When Keek laid on top of him yelling at him than stood up over him and pointed. That moment right there was when i knew the kid was something special. All of the instincts, tackling aside, the dude is a gamer and he is passionate about the game. That was a very brutal game against the Raiders and he stepped up majorily. I wish i could know what he said.

    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
    • Maybe faked was too strong of a word.  "Milked" may be the better way to call it.
