This seems to be a popular opinion with the anti-Richardson crowd (in particular), but the reality is that we have no idea whether or not we have met with the other guys. We only know what the media tells us, and they only know what they have been told (usually by the agents). Not every meeting is advertised. Also we surely met with them at the combine, and I am sure we attended their pro days. So it isn't like we have ignored them, even if we haven't had a formal meeting...yet. Not to mention that the biggest part is the scouting and research that the team does.

Walter Cherepinsky is basically a child that started his website as a high school class project (seriously, said so himself in an interview) and got traffic by creating a mock draft two years in advance, and by basically mocking the entire draft (or at least four rounds). He doesn't have sources. He studied up on how to create web traffic and advertising revenue, and there you have it - a successful site. But please don't confuse him with someone that might actually have sources, like a credible journalist.

I don't think the fact that we didnt meet with those guys means much, some guys are locks (not saying they are but maybe the Panthers think so). We haven't met with Joeckel, Star or Milliner but doesn't mean we wouldn't take them.

How he started the website is irrelevant. What is relevant is that the site has become incredibly successful and has gained multiple sources and contacts within the industry, especially in scout and agent circuits. I'm not a Walterfootball fan boy, in fact I've probably only ever gone to it about 5 times in my entire life, but basing your perception of a websites current credibility on it's humble beginnings is pretty fuging stupid if you ask me.
