Keenan Allen's 40 time; 4.71, Luke Kuechly's 40 time; 4.5. Anyone concerned by Allen's speed? (Or lack thereof)

Cal had Allen back as a return man on special teams. How could anybody SERIOUSLY think this guy is 4.7 speed. Why would they do that if he wuz that slow? The ignorance on this forum sometimes is to damn ridiculous. Some people will come to any kind of simple conclusion just to support there dislike for something.

cause that was the only problem with him.

and never mind that was with jarrett fully healthy while Allen's knee is at 70%.

I'm not saying I don't like the guy I'm just saying 4.7 speed at WR does not get you the 14th pick maybe in round 2.

i think anyone looking at that 4.7 and thinking that he's not going to get a good bit faster once healed is short sighted.

he's got plenty of talent. he's plenty polished. he's just not 100% yet. still a long offseason and one in which he'll be working more with pro-level trainers. the teams that are turned off by that time weren't really paying attention to him to begin with and probably weren't really interested in the first place. most teams in need of a good WR are probably just hoping that he'll drop to them. they won't be bothered by a 4.7 time from a guy that is still recovering from a ligament injury because they know what this kid is capable of.

One NFL scout said Cal WR Keenan Allen's stock will drop "significantly."

The scout said that there were already "character concerns," as Allen didn't interview well at the combine, where teams thought he was "big-timing" them. The scout also added that he's "probably" in the late second-round range.

He was on being interviewed by Steve Marriuchi and was less impressive than Patterson or D'arick Rogers

Kenny Stills was firey n says he models himself after Smitty.

Allen was dopey n of course only threw the ball.

Allen also made fun of Anquan Boldin's 40 time of 4.6 and said he would beat it. Must have been befre his pro day.
