San Francisco 49′Ers Reportedly In Trade Talks With Carolina Panthers

I love how people assume that well miss on this player or that player. I don't think there is any guarantee that a player like Vacarro is a definite top 15 or even top 32 pick. What I guys like Nassib start going in top 10? What if there is a run on corners and the top 6 CBs (who I think ALL could be 1st rounders) start flying off the board. You just never know and in this draft where IMO there is a lack of guaranteed impact players...why not trade down and try to pick up a couple more picks.

That's better, but not very much. Still a fair amount of speculating.

If San Fran gets Tavon Austin we are all in big big trouble.

That would literally make me sick if we trade back with them and they draft Austin.

Good Lord, look at how the just completed Revis deal played out.

The Panthers have made many deals through the years.

How many times has BofA confrimed trade talks?

It's not how it works.

Which part of this makes "49ers reportedly in trade talks with Panthers" an accurate statement?

Even the article itself admits it's all speculation.

I pointed out that they were jumping the gun based on the information that's actually known.

Can you show me something that confirms the headline is actually correct? Specifically, something factual, not something speculative.

if not, then the headline is wrong and misleading.

I don't see anything in there - or anywhere else - confirming that they're actually "talking".

All it really says is that the 49ers reportedly want to trade up to one of those spots.

Article looks like pure speculation.

If you actually read the article you'd see where the writer says so himself, that its pure speculation.
