(REPORT) Panthers eyeing WR Bailey or CB Wilson in the 2nd

Recommended Posts

Stedman Bailey/WR/West Virginia has been targeted by the Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Bucs and Philadelphia Eagles. Watch Carolina considering they came away with their defensive tackle in round one. I was also told the St Louis Rams and Houston Texans had been considering Bailey, but this was prior yesterday’s first round.

- If Carolina goes defense in round two I understand they will consider Blidi Wreh-Wilson/CB/UConn.

Tony Pauline was right yesterday when he said we liked Star in the 1st.

Bucs, Eagles, Texans, Rams all like him. Bailey is a finished product at WR.

Yes he is. He is also a good blocker and ST player loves to hit people and can do pr/kr overshadowed by Austin in that area though. Great at getting open and able to contour his body to make the hard catches. Speed wise seems slow but actually isnt to slow ran a 4.5 at the combine. Might seem a reach at 44 but is the most well rounded receiver left on the board. Also was top in the NCAA for TD's by a receiver.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
