So I don't think you want to rely on a 4th round OL teams passed up on a rookie at that to protect cam do you, or would you rather have a proven player. There are still cuts to be made and FA's to be picked up, guys relax we are going to be good. Got a beastly defense which we haven't had in awhile. Can't fix it all with 5 picks either..

Not saying that I would not look for a vet RG....I would.

But a guy like Jones would be great depth and is very versatile. Send Hangman packing.

Yeah maybe next year we fix O-Line, SF has an Oline full of 1st round picks. Our defensive line has the potential to have the same talent and defense wins championships. But the guy has a mess to clean up from prior regime and he's working one pick at a time, you see how he feels about trading away pick, we're good. Lets get a safety, receiver, and maybe another CB and lets get these FA's and go to work in camp!

You have to realize with 5 picks we can't possibly plug all the holes on the roster. Gettleman will probably load up on OLine depth w/rookie free agents.

Alvin Bailey -RG he would be instant upgrade in RG and would help in the running game.........he also played on both side of the line at LG and RG so he could move over if Amini gets hurt.

Totally agree that we need to fix the O-Line but we can pick up an upgrade in the FA with a guy like Moore.

I'm cool with going BPA, and that not being a G in the 4th.

Barret Jones is overrated. I bet he goes in the 6th round.

Not the biggest fan of Barrett Jones as an NFL prospect. Quite frankly I do not think he is big enough to play at our RG position. He is just over 300lbs and frankly I do not believe he would be able to run block against bigger NFL DTs. Much rather get a road-grader/mauler type if we go guard in the fourth.

I think we'll nab a contributor on the oline by the end of the draft. I also don't think we are done signing FAs. I bet we fill out the bottom of our backups during/after preseason.
