Sign Brandon Moore and Danario Alexander

Danario Alexander is a RFA. At best we would have to trade for him.

Brandon Moore wants too much money. He won't be here.

However.... We could go another route and sign SS Quintin Mikell. He would start and solidify our defense, and likely wouldn't be that expensive.

Alexander has an original tender placed on him and he was an UDFA so you wouldn't have to give up a pick to get him.

What Moore wants is irrelevant, the market determines your value and this market has been soft. Panthers already have enough cap room to outbid what he's been offered and they'll get more cap space June 1st when Anderson comes off the books.

I wouldn't mind going with B.Jones or Rogers and then signing Mikell at all.

    • Likewise. It’s been a bad team to watch for most of the last 6 years, so it’s hard to spend too much time here.   Your team is still good. They seem to play up or down to their competition. Hopefully this gets them focused and realizing that a C- effort can get them beat by anybody.
    • That’s not how it works, especially since we don’t have Horn follow #1s. It’s hell because the other team is usually throwing at you because Horn takes away the other option.
    • Jackson could never intercept a ball for the rest of his career and he’s still a very solid starting CB. It’s crazy to me people are saying things like he sucks or a good team would replace him. He’s been very good at covering guys and deflecting passes, which is even more impressive given that teams avoid the other side of the field cuz of Horn. Jackson is one of the better #2 CBs in the league and no amount of dropped interceptions changes that.
