God I love all the NFL experts we have. How in the hell do they know what they are talking about. Gettlemen and his staff have spent weeks evaluating talent. All you whine little bitches that know shyt about evaluating talent need to STFU and let the people that get paid to do it. DO IT!!!!

I felt all along that we might not select a WR or DB after signing a couple of each during free agency. There might be a free agent in June 1. Have some damn faith. Gettlemen sounds like he knows what he is doing.

ill book mark this thread for you guys when he is starting next season.

the ONLY reason this guy wasnt in the D1 was due to SAT score.

he has the talent and measurables you look for @ OG.

He had Alabama, LSU, Vanderbilt and many other D1 schools after him. He couldn't academically get into a top program. So he went Div 2 and did what you want, he dominated like you have to if you are trying to get noticed by NFL. The Browns reportedly had them as a 3-4 rd prospect, just because some scouts overlook somebody doesn't mean they are a bust

I think im the only one that like Kugbila.

Big kuddos to Gettleman for finding this diamond in the rough.

He has a ton of potential and will start day 1 if we dont sign a vet RG.

I like the pick, we needed OL help and even if he dont start, he will be groomed to take over at RG sooner or later. I love this draft.

Watford was still available and will be a starting guard in the NFL.

Kugbila is taller and heavier but more "raw."

Again i am worried that Gettleman is stuck on this Hog-Molly thing too much.

How is he more raw? Was a polished OG in college. Gave up zero-little sacks and QB hurries.

He is no more raw than all the other OGs. Ppl are just saying that because he went to D2.

OK buddy. I guess Rivera is confused and you are right.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said that while Kugbila is "raw"...

lol they say every lineman not taken in the 1st round is raw and has things to work on / improve going from college to the pros. Rivera/Getts also said Star was raw.

like I said, how is he anymore raw than the other OGs?

He has a great frame / size

Athletic

Quick feet (fastest in the draft amongst OGs ive I heard correctly)

Good College Production (allowed zero-little sacks and hurries)

You can do mental gymnastics all you like but the fact is he is a poorly rated G who has been playing against glorified High School students. He is the posterboy for raw.

There were dozens more NFL ready guards in the draft. Some of these prospects were 7th rounders or UDFA.

It's a very questionable pick.

Wasnt rated poorly by the FO.

He was the most impressive / highest potential guard left on the board.

All it took was a quick read up on this kids measurables college production, and the fact that Bama, LSU, etc wanted him out of HS but had to go to D2 due to SAT score.
