Are we a better team now versus our last game

Looking at our FA losses and gains, also assuming Star and Short are indeed as good as advertised.......I ask:

Are we a better team today?(on paper of course)

I say that due to no core losses and that we have improved tremendously on our DL, we are indeed a better team! Not as good as all you other GMs could make us, but indeed we are an improved team and that's the point of the offseason!

On paper we are better, yes. More depth, and we didn't lose impact players. As far as I am concerned, Gamble is the only guy that we haven't addressed directly as far as losses go. But I think the FA DB's we signed will be decent replacements.

The defense is better, the special teams will be better, guys come back from injury.

There is a good sense of continuity from last year, with added talent and potential talent from the draft.

So you are basically saying, you feel Star isn't a massive improvement over Ron and Fua! Granted we don't know but all indications point to yes! We haven't lost any playmakers

The backfill we've managed to pull in makes us better. When guys go down (which will happen) we are more prepared heading into the next season.

i don't think it's a question necessarily worth asking before gettleman's done with free agency, and i'd bet money he's not.
