You can't go wrong either way on those two cars...IMO.

 

I bought my 06 because I needed something better on gas than my Yukon Denali, as I was changing jobs and was driving more.

 

Bought it with high mileage, because I was going to do a ton of city driving and that beats on cars.  Have been nothing but happy, and would buy another Acura in a heartbeat.

 

Thinking of getting a Lexus GX for the girlfriend as her Tahoe has over 200K miles on it.

my 04 TL just rolled past 100,000 miles and I haven't had a single problem with it....knock on wood.  Still lots of fun to drive, get's great gas mileage pretty much regardless of how or where I am driving it.  Comfortable for 4 and a big enough trunk space for a couple sets of golf clubs and a weekend bag....or multiple dead hookers, whatever your preference is.

06 just rolled over 130K.  Still feels like a new car when driving.

A lot of acura fans it seems.  I actually test drove the new ILX the other day.  Its basically the Acura's civic but a little bigger.  Decent ride.

the ILX is under powered and over priced...even a decent Acura sales guy will tell you that.  If you can get yours hands on a TL or even a TLX, you'll be much much happier...even if it's a little more $$$
