Hornets want Seth Curry

Bobcats invited Seth Curry to summer league, but that isn't an option because he's still recovering from leg surgery.

 

Agent for @sdotcurry Jeff Austin, Seth was just cleared for physical activity and can't be ready to play in Vegas in July.  

 

Austin said he'd love for it to work out that Seth gets an invitation to Bobcats training camp. Now it's a wait-and-see situation.

 

 

 

 

This would be an awesome legacy deal for the Hornets.  Seth is not the talent Steph is, but he could develop into a good spot up shooter.  

 

Plus, we all know we need some shooting. 

 

People have always doubted the Curry's, and it has not worked out well for them.

Curry is worth the risk. I doubt he'll have the NBA success Steph has enjoyed, but I think he could still be a very good NBA player. We'd be foolish to not give him a shot IMO.

Seth obviously has his shooting, but he's crafty with his scoring and fakes as well.  Could be a nice guy off the bench who could get hot and provide a nice scoring bump some nights.

This might just be me, but Seth seems to have a lot of traits that Ben Gordon has. Seth probably can't put the ball on the floor quite as well as Gordon but if Gordon wants to, he could definitely mold Seth into a very solid rotational player.

He can shoot but once he gets crossovered by a quicker guard (which is like every guard in the league) his ankles may finally break for good.

I'm a Tar Heel through and through but I think we should bring the guy in. Just like his brother the injury risk is there but he would cost next to nothing so why not? We need shooters for real. The guy is still a dead eye from three. You can't deny pedigree.
