Man, I want a Chris Harris jersey sooooooooooo bad. Black one, if anybody is asking. :D

At BoA I watch him, he's my favorite defensive player. I love the way he plays, what he brings to the game. We need that intensity on the entire defense all the time.

Oh yeah! Meeks should love Harris. :)

my father in-law works for a company that installs home theatre systems. he actually did a theatre for Chris Harris, on the last day of the job he went to finish a few small things and i actually rode with him and got to meet Chris. he is prob one of the nicest guys I've ever met and extremely humble, as we were leaving he actually reached in a box sitting in his living room, pulled out two jerseys and autographed them both for us. so I'm deff a HUGE Chris Harris fan

I think Harris is the most underrated panther. He brings leadership and toughness to our defense that is probably only equaled by Beason, yet you really never hear of him. His forced fumbles came down some last year from the year before, but hopefully that will return with Meek's swarming defensive style.

Yes I would say he won at least one game for us last year. Those Fumbles turn the tide . . . .

    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
