Bucs NFC South Team of the Decade

So 6 playoff wins is better than having more regular season wins, more NFC south titles and the a SB ring? It doesn't add up.

And with yokels like bobcat who plays down our victory like it was nothing. The Raiders had it all that year, league MVP, jerry rice(best wr of all time), and #1 O that season. proves what you know buddy.

Absolutely, we're just the dirt on the bottom of your shoe. Now check your website, you don't know where you're at, what's your record against us for the last several years? I'll agree that you got the "team of the decade" for winning a Super Bowl with Tony Dungy's team. But admitting that you have a better team? What are you smokin'?...

Yeah, and the playbook and the personnel knowledge. Game planning must have been like sitting in on the Raiders meetings.

Do you have the NFL Network? Do you watch the series America's Game? Have you seen the one About the 2003 Super Bowl with the Bucs and Raiders?

Gruden is on the sidelines calling the freaking plays out to his defense pre-snap.

We all know Gruden is a genius, but hell, he was a prophet that game!

Decade:

Tampa:

1 SB apperance, 1 SB win

Win% in SB= 100%

Carolina:

1 SB apperance, 0 SB win

Win% in SB= 0%

Since regular season numbers are so close, then the SB must have a big factor. I dont see why people are going crazy about this. If the Panthers would have pulled out the SB then its no question that the Panthers would have been the All-decade team.

You all are a bunch of idiot homers if you think that we had a better decade than the bucs

Not an idiot homer, I can't disagree on the rating, a Super Bowl ring trumps everything. Just don't like people coming onto our board trying to rub it in our faces when the only thing that got them that ranking was that one run while they can't seem to win consistently since. Oh well, it's not gonna change until we win one, then it turns on a dime...

You sure about that?

Since when have the Panthers been a more consistent winning team? If I'm not mistaken y'all have never had Back 2 Back winning seasons before.

Think about it :yesnod:

Who really gives us damn? I'll give you your Super Bowl props in terms of the decade, but let's talk complete history:

But for one SB, the Bucs are a hybrid of the Falcons and the Saints---decades-old organizations that are the Poster boys for how NOT to run an NFL organization. The Panthers have been around for 14 years, and have given their fans arguably more to cheer about than any other organization in the NFC South for their entire existence (maybe even all put together).

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
